My Story 💐
Hello my name is Katya Dmitriev and I am the creator of Crumb Co. From a young age, baking has always been one of my favorite hobbies, and as I grew older, I wanted to share my desserts more and more with others. I wanted to share this passion with close friends or anyone in my community. That is when I decided to begin forming Crumb Co. I picked out some of my favorite things to bake and started with a small selection (but who knows if it could expand🤷♀️), and put everything together on this here website. Sounds easy enough. What I did not know about “starting a local business” is that there is quite a few costs in the beginning. And if you are reading this right now, then that means those costs have been paid. Well the only way to convince my parents to help me pay in the start was if I actually begin to make money from Crumb Co. So now that means I am relying on you, please help support this very small business and together, we can make something very sweet!
If you know me, you may be thinking, why on Earth does Katya need to do this? And if you don’t know me, then you may be thinking, why not? Well on top of school (which I low-key try hard in), I am an acrobatic gymnast who practices five days a week. So when is there time for baking? Well according to ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, "Time is a created thing. To say 'I don't have time,' is like saying, 'I don't want to.'", and I sure want to. If Crumb Co. were to actually be a success not only would that mean the world to me, but it would actually help a lot. Recently, in my acro career, my partner and I, made the International Development Team. And if you do acro this may not seem like the biggest deal, but for me, it’s practically a dream come true. Because of this, we are assigned to a competition in Poland (another dream of mine to compete internationally)! So part of the earnings I receive from Crumb Co. will also go towards my travel for my acro career. Please help me out, and try some of my delicious desserts (come on it’s not like I am asking for manual labor, you literally get dessert!)
